An inspiring national awards programme, Cavell Star Awards are given to nurses, midwives, nursing associates and healthcare assistants who shine bright and show exceptional care to one of three groups of people:

Who will you nominate?

You know that nurse, midwife, nursing associate or HCA, so make sure they get rewarded for their sparkling qualities. Tell us why your colleague is a superstar and how they go above and beyond their usual duties.

What will happen?

We'll call or email you to discuss your nomination and if successful you'll get a dazzling Cavell Star medal for you and your team to present to your star colleague. Think about the surprise on their face! There’s also a beautiful Cavell Star pin badge for your colleague to wear every day as a reminder of how they shine. There’s no cost, all we ask is for you and your colleague to share your story with Cavell Nurses’ Trust to help celebrate the amazing work nurses, midwives, nursing associates and HCAs do every day in the UK.

By submitting your nomination, you are happy for a member of the Cavell Star Awards team to contact you via email or phone to discuss your nomination further.
